  • We are in need of servers to work nights and weekends. Our Pub & Grill is are looking for individuals with experience in food service.  We want sincere applicants with strong work ethics. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED but not required.

  • The IceWorks Security position is available to all applicants 21 years of age or older. As we approach our busy winter season, IceWorks needs security posted in various points inside the facility during events that will include high school games, tournament games, junior games, figure skating competitions, public skating, and other large events. Security will also be needed inside our Pub & Grill and IceWorks café. Please find below the job description for IceWorks Security.

    There have been some modifications made to the position due to the coronavirus.

    Monitor the Event – monitor people at the event to ensure rules are followed and everyone is acting safely. Maintain order – direct foot traffic, help lost people find their point of destination.

    Escort Attendees out of event – In the event that a “rowdy” crowd develops, it may be necessary to escort customers out of the building and prevent re-entry.

    Reporting – monitor and report any suspicious activity you see to your immediate supervisor. This can be done directly or with a two-way radio you will be provided with.

    Suppress disturbances – If a fight breaks out during the event, security will be required to immediately respond by either suppressing the situation or contacting the proper authorities. Work well and efficiently under pressure while remaining calm in a stressful situation. Able to identify threats quickly while acting appropriately.

  • Essential Job Functions:

    • Operation of ice re-surfacing equipment as well as its related recordkeeping
    • Housekeeping of a 4-rink ice facility
    • Set-up of large group events
    • Inspection and cleaning of locker rooms, restrooms, and spectator seating
    • This is a part-time position for individuals with availability on weekday nights as well as weekends for both day and night shifts. You may be required to work on holidays.
    • We offer training for individuals with little to no experience in the industry. Training and orientation is best to be completed on weekdays from 6am – 4pm.
  • The party host position at IceWorks is a part time position where hours will be determined and dependent upon the amount of birthday parties and private events we reserve.

    • Must be able to work mornings, evenings, afternoons, holidays, and weekends.
    • Part time position where you may be required to work 8-10 hours per week.
    • Previous experience in customer service preferred but not required.

  • The skate guard position at IceWorks is a part-time year-round position. All skate guards must be at least 14 years old and if under the age of 18, working papers are required to be employed in this position.

    Below please find some further details and responsibilities regarding this position:

    • Must be able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
    • This is a part time position where skate guards may be required to work between 10-20 hours per week.
    • Seasonal position where skate guards are required to work weekends and holidays.
    • Preferred if all applicants have experience ice skating but is not required.

  • The IceWorks scorekeeper position is available to all applicants 16 years of age or older. We have a wide range of games that need to be filled throughout the week, including high school, middle school, elementary, club, and adult leagues. You will learn and use three different score clocks. The only requirements are to fill out the scoresheet with goals, penalties, and shots (not required for adult league). Evening and late games are available during the week. Weekend games are throughout the day and night. Experience preferred but not required.

  • Front Office Cashier Part Time Nights and Weekends

    Essential Job Functions

    • Responsible for Front Register, entering payments for various camps, clinics and leagues as well as Public Skate, Open Hockey and Figure Skating Drop-In Sessions.
    • Answer phone, screen calls and handle customer service matters; respond or elevate as appropriate.
    • Provide direct assistance in project work; responsible for tracking a project from start to finish with minor supervision and oversight.
    • Perform a variety of secretarial and clerical tasks and other duties as assigned

    Qualifications/Prerequisites

    • Pleasant, patient and polite demeanor.
    • Clear and effective verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in balancing multiple as well as shifting priorities.
    • Ability to multitask in busy environment.
    • An understanding or willingness to learn DaySmart.
    • Prior experience working in a hockey/figure skating capacity preferred but not required.
